Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis will lead a study involving 8,000 students from 20 colleges and universities across the U.S. They spearhead the study to test the effectiveness of an mHealth (mobile health) platform for treating clinical depression, anxiety and easing disorders.  Receiving a $3.8 million grant from the National Institute of Mental Health of the NIH.

The study will use an mHealth platform developed by Boston-based SilverCloud Health, including a mobile health app, to deliver both self-directed and assisted care management tools.
