University of Turku Researchers Discover New Immune Response Regulators

Jan 19, 2019 | Immune System

Researchers from Turku Centre for Biotechnology of the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University in Finland used a proteomic approach to optimize a way to discover how protein levels in T cells change over time. In this process, the Finnish team identified new cell regulators and gained information on the cell differentiation process, which according to their recent EurekAlert! press release, can be a place to start for planning new ways of preventing cells from becoming inflammatory.
