Patch writer Jean Lotus reports that the University of Colorado Anschutz will conduct two clinical trials focusing on A) marijuana as a treatment for chronic spine pain and as a treatment to reduce opioid use and B) determine whether cannabidiol (CBD) can be used to treat children with autism spectrum disorder. The funding is coming from Colorado’s State Health Department.
