Clements Hospital is part of the UT Southwestern Medical Center, a medical education and biomedical research center. The overall system includes a 100 plus-acre campus in Dallas that incorporates three degree-granting institutions—UT Southwestern Medical School, UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and UT Southwestern School of Health Professions along four affiliated hospitals including Clements Jr. University Hospital.
Clements Jr. University Hospital, is ranked among the top 25 academic medical center hospitals in the nation by the Vizient Quality and Accountability Study, based on exemplary performance in safety, mortality, clinical effectiveness, efficiency, patient centeredness, and equity of care. Earlier this year, Clements University was ranked the No. 1 hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth and the No. 2 in Texas while ranking nationally among the top 50 programs in seven clinical specialty areas, according to U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Hospitals listings.
