NuvoAir Lands $3 Million to Help Patients Monitor Respiratory Diseases with AI

Based in Stockholm Sweden, NuvoAir was founded in 2015 combine hardware, software and data to improve lives of people suffering from respiratory conditions. Founded by Lorenzo Consoli, who had stints at Novartis and other tech ventures, they are a new digital therapeutics start up that is attacking the respiratory monitoring challenge. They recently secured $3 million from Industrifonden, one of the largest life science and tech investors in Scandinavia.

NuvoAir seeks to make respiratory disease measurable and more treatable.  It has now collected more than 500,000 spirometry tests in the past three years.  For industry sponsors seeking respiratory patient engagement Mr. Consoli’s venture may offer an intriguing partnership.  Their Director of Product is Fredrik Adiehag and Senior Quality and Regulatory Manager Max Ladow.
