The Novo Nordisk foundation—the charitable arm of the Danish biopharmaceutical company, has launched a collaborative Crop Resilience Program (CCRP)—a six year project that will examine microbes and their impact on plant health and productivity.

The $30 million research effort will be led by North Carolina State University and bankrolled by Novo Nordisk’s foundation. The project is a collaborative effort between North Carolina State and three Danish universities including University of Copenhagen, Aarhus University and the Technical University of Denmark.  Follow the link to the Triangle Business Triangle for more details.
