Murray State Investigator Earns Prestigious Grant

A Murray State University biology professor as received a prestigious National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Project Grant (RO1) for his ongoing work.  Dr. Alexey Arkov of the Jesse D. Jones College of Science, Engineering and Technology and his colleague, Dr. Jeremy Lynch of the University of Illinois at Chicago, are principal investigators of the award-winning project titled “Novel Insights from a Divergent form of Germ Plasm.” Arkov received his PhD from the University of Texas MD, Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He is a member of the Kentucky Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network.
