Mount Sinai Health System’s Icahn School of Medicine launched the “Diversity and Inclusion Hub” where health researchers will leverage technology, data and dynamic engagement to address the social determinants of health.

Spearheaded by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Mount Sinai seeks ways to address healthcare disparities as well as diversify the field of health innovation. The hub offers mentorship, training and networking opportunities for students, staff, community leaders, and other stakeholder seeking to develop innovative ways to reduce and eliminate inequity in healthcare.

The Accelerator Program

Students and stakeholders come together to share and pitch ideas concerning social determinants of health as well as connect to with industry partners for opportunity to transform ideas into projects and perhaps even ventures.
