Kanazawa University Research Correlates Inflammation and Cancer

Jan 28, 2019 | Cancer, Chronic Inflammation

Kanazawa University research has potentially cracked the code connecting chronic inflammation and cancer. Inflammation is normal to the body. The inflammatory process occurs when chemicals are released by damaged tissue, triggering the body’s white blood cells to work their magic. Chronic inflammation is a completely different situation. As the cause is not fully known, chronic inflammation may cause damage to the DNA which can lead to cancer. Follow the link to read the entire study.
