Published recently in the Journal of the American Heart Association, a study focused on the programming of safety of cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs). The results suggest that the publication of clinically meaningful trial results and professional results doesn’t necessarily translate well into real-world practice.  Consequently, just a fraction of the filed that may benefit form the added guidance benefit.
