ClinRegs, A TrialSite News Favorite, Updates Mali Clinical Trial Country Rules

ClinRegs recently updated the regulatory information for clinical trials in Mali. Specifically Decree No. 2017-0245/P-RM of 13 March 2018—Fixing the Terms of Application of Law No. 09-059 of December 28, 2009 Governing Biomedical Research on Humans. Also impacted is Mali’s implementation of the International Council for Harmonization’s Integrated Addendum to Good Clinical Practice, E6(R2).

ClinRegs is one of our favorite sites here at TrialSite News. As we track and monitor global clinical trials regulations worldwide, we find it to be an indispensable resource launched in 2014 by the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). An online database of country-specific clinical research regulatory information that has been designed to help those planning clinical trials worldwide. The website providers users with useful comparisons between some of the countries as well.

Jonathan Kagan, PhD, Assistant Director for Special Projects in NIAID’s Division of Clinical Research oversees the management of the website. He is committed to ensuring that ethical, safe and productive clinical research continues to expand worldwide.
