Many in Australia will die of blood cancer in Australia reports The Advertiser. Federal Labor leader Bill Shorten spoke to reporters at Midland Public Hospital in Perth. He announced that a Shorten Labor government will provide $20 million for more clinical trials for those with blood cancers and leukemia.  Opposition health spokesperson Katherine King says that “this will mean that Australian’s who have exhausted all other options for access for treatment of leukemia will get access to clinical trials.”  Ms. King notes that 47 people a day are diagnosed with blood cancers.
