MedicalXpress reports biomedical researchers are creating a Pediatric Cell Atlas (PCA), a fine-grained scientific understanding of human growth development. The initiative is being led by Deanne M. Taylor, PhD, Director of Bioinformatics in the Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics as Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a research assistant professor of Pediatrics in the Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania.
