Frank Connor reports from Endocrinology Advisor that Danish researchers from Aarhus University Hospital’s Department of Endocrinology and Internal Medicine find that “Vitamin D3 treatment, in doses of 2800 IU/day, have been found to improve trabecular microarchitecture and bone strength in postmenopausal women, without affecting bone mass density.” They reported their findings at the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research 2018 Annual Meeting held in Montreal, Quebec.
