Washington Univ. St. Louis Receives $11.5 Million for Leukemia Research

Writing for the university news site, Julia Evangelou Strait notes that the NIH has extended support for School of Medicine’s leukemia program. Already a top leukemia program in the U.S., Washington University School of Medicine St. Louis has been awarded $11.5 million in grant money to further investigations into leukemia and related blood cancers. The grant originates from the National Institute of Health (NIH). The program will speed translational research helping to move new discoveries into therapies.
